The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, aka HUD, has a site devoted to seniors and housing. It covers a lot of information, including:

• Buying, selling and renting a home
  
• Avoiding fraud
  
• Repairs
  
• Staying in your home

Each link provides at least an overview of the topic and often links to local resources through dropdown links. It also provides solid information about what sort of help HUD can offer seniors. Surprisingly, the site also links to a limited number of non-governmental sites.

The HUD site is a good place to check when you’ve got any housing issues at all.
