You’ve heard it before. You need to back up the files on your computer. But, if you’re like most, it’s something you keep postponing because it’s a pain in the behind to do.
Thanks to a highly recommended free service called Mozy, backing up has just gotten easier, and for many people, it’s free.
If you’re on a Windows system and have a broadband connection, you simply signup, download a piece of software and proceed. You’ll be guided through the whole process. The first time you use Mozy it takes some time to scan your computer and let you choose what you want to back up. After that, it’s all pretty automatic, with regular backups happening in background.
If you’re using a Mac, you’ll have to wait, but you can sign up to get notified when Mozy is Mac compatible.
