It’s National Consumer Protection Week – Feb. 4 – Feb. 10. Sponsored by the U.S. Government, the goal is help people become informed so they can protect themselves from fraud. The slogan this year is “Read Up and Reach Out – Be An Informed Consumer.”

The website has basic information and a ton of links to information you can use to protect yourself. It also has information about how you can use the site to promote understanding in your own groups and communities.
