LaRonda, who blogs at
The Ear of My Heart has a great article on
Age Related Hearing Loss. She quotes the National Council on Aging saying
“More than nine million Americans over the age of 65 have a hearing loss. About three out of five older Americans with hearing loss don’t use hearing aids.” Then she explores why so many seniors are reluctant to use hearing aids. It turns out there are way more reasons than you might suspect. Some, of course, are specious, but many turn out to be legitimate.
You’ll come away with a better understanding of the problem and some great ways to approach it.
